Get your hearing aids working like new — even if you bought them somewhere else.
In-office repair, factory-level diagnostics, Moisture Removal, and the Elevate 180™ Review for hearing aids that aren't living up to their potential.
We service most issues here in our office.
You rely on your hearing aids every day, so we work to fix as much as we can on the spot — wax buildup, mic and receiver issues, dome and tubing replacement, basic programming. If a device needs to go to the manufacturer, we manage that too.
If your hearing aids are under warranty and you have a service plan with us, factory repair is included. If they're out of warranty, we provide an upfront quote — and we'll be honest with you about whether the repair is worth it given the device's age and electroacoustic test results.
- Professional cleaning and wax removal

The deep clean your hearing aids have been waiting for.
Moisture is the #1 enemy of hearing aid performance. Redux is a vacuum-based deep-cleaning system that removes moisture and contaminants from inside your devices.
Have hearing aids but they're not working? Turn it around.
The Elevate 180™ Review is our comprehensive second-opinion appointment for existing hearing aid users. Most people who come to us frustrated with their hearing aids fall into one of four categories: wrong device for the loss, improper counseling, mechanical malfunction, or — most commonly — programming that doesn't match the prescription.
The 3-step Elevate 180™ process
Listening & learning
We identify all your areas of difficulty and establish your top hearing priorities. Wants, needs, and values vary widely — and they matter.
Comprehensive evaluation
Physical ear health, comprehensive hearing evaluation including speech-in-noise, and your current hearing loss prescription compared to your hearing aids' programming.
Hearing aid performance analysis
Diagnostic testing of your aids, a review of digital feature settings, and Real Ear Measurement to verify proper programming.
Three possible outcomes
Already optimized
Your hearing aids are already optimized — rare, but possible if your previous provider followed Best Practices. We may suggest additional tools and listening strategies to refine your performance.
Refit program needed
You have the right hearing aids for your loss, but they need our Elevate Refit program and perhaps a different ear coupling like different domes or custom earmolds.
New technology recommended
Your current devices aren't right for your hearing loss. We'll discuss the technology that would actually serve your hearing prescription and lifestyle.
Hearing aid troubleshooting
Before you bring them in, try these — many issues have simple fixes.
If there's no sound
- Check the battery is inserted correctly
- Replace the battery if you suspect it's dead
- Remove earwax from the earmold or replace the wax guard
- Check tubing for wax or moisture; clear with the blower tool
- Make sure it isn't accidentally set to telecoil mode
Feedback or whistling
- Remove and reinsert your hearing aids
- Turn down the volume
- Make sure nothing is blocking the device
- Have your audiologist check your ears for excess wax
Weak or distorted sound
- The battery may be dead or weak — replace it
- Open the battery compartment and clean contacts with a dry cloth
- Clean the earmold or tubing; replace the wax guard
